This will reduce edema (swelling).<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Avoid hot and lukewarm foods and liquids for 24 hours<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Avoid eating at the site of surgery for at least 3 days<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Avoid exercise and heavy work for at least 48 hours<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">You will be given a special toothbrush with which you can wash the site of the operation fearlessly for the next few days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Wash with saline 3 times a day for 3 days (a small glass of water with a teaspoon of salt).<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">You will be given a special chlorhexidine mouthwash recipe to use for washing.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">You will be given a special chlorhexidine gel which you will be able to place at the end of the surgery.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Minor bleeding is normal in the early hours.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">You do not have to rinse your mouth constantly because it does not allow the wound to heal.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">In case of severe bleeding after 48 hours contact us for instructions, or go to the doctor for a checkup.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Be careful not to bite your lips as long as the anesthesia lasts.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">At night try to sleep later than the usual, and sleep with your head slightly raised<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Pain and discomfort are likely to exist. And it&#8217;s perfectly normal<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">You may have a fever.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Edema is likely to occur. It usually gets completely after 14 days. The more invasive the treatment, the more likely it is to have edema.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Pain and discomfort are likely to exist. And it&#8217;s perfectly normal<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">You may have a fever.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Edema is likely to occur. The more invasive the treatment, the more likely it is to have edema.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">The sutures are removed after 14 days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">During this time there is a possibility that a suture will loosen or cut. In this case there is no reason to worry, but you can always visit us at the dental office for a checkup.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">If symptoms develop after 10-15 days please contact us.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Instructions for Sinus Lifting, with or without Implant Placement<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Guidelines for sinus lift elevation, with or without implant placement\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Avoid smoking for at least 7 days, for the best and fastest healing of the soft and hard tissues.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Do not blow your nose.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Try not to sneeze and in general as much as possible not to inhale or exhale with force, for at least 2 weeks.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">If your nose runs, clean it with a tissue.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Avoid drinking liquids through a straw.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Avoid air travel for at least 2 weeks after surgery.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Bleeding from your nose a few days after surgery is normal, if you see heavy and continuous bleeding for a few days contact your doctor.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Place ice on the operation area for 2-3 hours only on the first day of the operation, without direct contact with the skin (wrap a towel), keep it for 10 minutes and leave it for 10.
